The Ascension Project
Second only to the royalty of each hive, the Huntress reigns. A title given to only the most deadly of hunters and influential tribal leaders of the Vax’Ildan, earned by not only by their predatory skills but through attrition. The weak die on Do’Urdan.
Hit Die: The Huntress gains 1d10 hit points per level. The character’s Constitution modifier applies.
The Huntress’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are: Acrobatics (Dex), Climb (Str), Craft (mechanical, structural, visual art, writing) (Int), Fly (Dex), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (Earth and Life Sciences, Tactics) (Int), Navigate (Int), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Stealth (Dex), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str).
Skill Points at 1st Level: 3 + Int modifier X 2.
Skill Points at Each Level: 3 + Intelligence modifier.

At 1st level, the Huntress gains Weapon Specialization. She gains a +2 bonus on all damage rolls with any Archaic Weapon the Huntress has weapon focus.
The Huntress is trained for the hunt and lives for it. This is reflected in the ritual perfection of her weapons and her use of them. She has learned how to find gaps in the armor of impenetrable prey.
At 2nd level, any archaic weapon the Huntress wields, in which she has Weapon Focus, the Huntress penetrates damage reduction, equal to her level, and gains +1 to attack and damage.
At 8th level, the Huntress’ bonus to attack and damage increases to +2 and threatens a critical hit on a roll of 19.
At 3rd, 6th, and 9th levels, the Huntress gets a bonus feat. The bonus feat must be selected from the following list, and the Huntress must meet all of the prerequisites for the feat to select it.
Advanced Two-Weapon Fighting, Blind-Fight, Broken and Bloody, Combat Expertise, Cleave, Combat Reflexes, Far Shot, Flyby Attack, Great Cleave, Improved Bull Rush, Improved Disarm, Improved Trip, Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, Power Attack, Spring Attack, Sunder, Two-Weapon Fighting, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus.
Quick Weapon Draw
At 4th level, the Huntress gains the ability to draw her weapon as a free action. This applies only to the weapons for which the Huntress has Weapon Specialization.
At 5th level, the Huntress can use his or her weapon to deal nonlethal damage, without taking the –4 penalty on attack rolls. The Huntress must have Weapon Specialization in the weapon to use it in this fashion.
Wings of Death
At 7th level the Huntress goes through a transformation and grows wings.
Increased Weapon Critical
The Huntress increases her threat range by one when using an archaic weapon with which she has Weapons Specialization. A weapon that would threaten a critical on 20 would now do so on a 19 or 20, and one which threatens on a 19 or 20 would now do so on an 18 to 20. This ability works with other abilities that increase threat ranges.
